All the kids in the community are invited to dress up in costume and come out to Trietsch’s Family Life Center for an awesome Fall Children’s Festival on Sunday, October 30, 4-6:30 p.m.

They’ll start the fun with trunk or treating, going from car to car to collect treats. Adults can hand out the candy, and decorating your trunk is encouraged! Donation baskets for candy will be at the Faith Voyage and Early Childhood Information Desks leading up to the event.

But this year, trunk or treat is only the beginning of the festivities! Stick around for games, food, fun and a Chili Cook-Off, open to all families, kids, small groups and individuals wishing to participate. Entry fee for the Chili Cookoff is $25. Registration deadline is Oct. 16. Register at the Connection Center table on Sundays or in the church office during the week. Contact Ashley O’Rourke at 972-567-0819 or ashleyorourke@tx.rr.com for chili cook-off information.

In addition to collecting treats, please bring a “treat” for those less fortunate as well. A special “trunk” will be set up to collect canned goods for the food pantry at Christian Community Action. Let’s see if we can fill an SUV with food!
Volunteers are welcome.

Invite your friends, family and neighbors to join the fun this Halloween. Contact Stefani Inskeep at stefanii@tmumc.org for more information.
